Hello everybody and a warm welcome to our wiki.
We are a group of MFL tutors teaching in the North-East of England for the Adult Learning and Skills Unit of the Gateshead Council.
This wiki was born on the 2 July 2008 by Chrissi. It will (hopefully!) become the platform for fruitful communication, dialogue and exchange of ideas that will enable us to learn with and from each other.
This requires contribution from all members and I hope you will embrace the idea and concept and make this space yours to enhance teaching and learning in MFL within Gateshead Council.
Please respect each other and do not publish anything offensive within this wiki. Thank you very much.
Languages represented at the moment
We are a small but powerful team of tutors and always keen in expanding. If you know a native speaker (even if the language is not represented at the moment), with MFL and teaching qualifications, we would love to hear from them. In the immediate future we are looking to have 2 tutors per language, which will enable communication and fruitful exchange and cover too if needed. Please contact Melanie Bancroft for an application pack if you know anybody who would be interested. Thank you very much.
